Atlantic Mayors Congress

The Municipality of Colchester and the Town of Truro are pleased to welcome mayors and municipal leaders from across Atlantic Canada for the 2026 Atlantic Mayors Congress.

For 25 years, the Congress has provided a forum for municipal leaders to connect, exchange ideas and bring a strong Atlantic municipal voice to the issues affecting our communities.

Over three days, delegates will take part in focused discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing municipalities across Atlantic Canada. The program combines working sessions with opportunities to connect with colleagues, experience the Truro–Colchester region and continue conversations outside the meeting room.

Friday, September 18
Delegates arrive in Truro–Colchester, with the Congress beginning Friday evening with a welcome reception and an opportunity to reconnect with municipal colleagues from across the region.

Saturday, September 19
A full day of Congress sessions, discussion and networking, followed by the Saturday evening program.

Sunday, September 20
The Congress concludes with morning sessions and closing discussions.
